Dear Prudence

Eat + Drink

Tucked in the centre of Canberra, Dear Prudence offers a list of local and global undiscovered wines in an alluring and charming atmosphere. By the glass wines change weekly, there’s always something new to explore.

Dear Prudence, serves small plates and snacks to pair with your favourite glass of wine.

Outdoor tables amongst the Plane trees with views of bustling Alinga street provide a front row ticket for people-watching.

Inside, distressed walls and arched window forms speak to the building’s history. When the sun goes down and the warm candlelight glimmers on your wine glass time will – even for just a moment – seem to stand still.

Dear Prudence and the 'Edith' room are great spaces to catch up with friends, first dates or private events.

Dear Prudence is part of a larger food precinct which includes their neighbour, Brew Nation and their Northbourne Avenue cousin Verity Lane Market.
