BMX bikes, street energy, and Braddon’s best. For one massive weekend from Friday 7 to Saturday 8 November, ACT JAM BMX takes over Elouera Street with a lineup of tricks, tunes, and local flavour that the whole family can enjoy.
Led by Backbone BMX’s Tyson Jones-Peni and the FACT BMX crew, ACT JAM brings the country’s best riders to the city streets for two days of flips and full-send moments. It’s the perfect way to soak up the city’s energy before summer hits.

Friday: Knock-Off Drinks and Kickflips
The weekend starts early. The street fills with the sound of wheels, cheers and BentSpoke pints clinking nearby. From 4pm, the street wakes up with Open Riding as the crowd builds and the golden-hour hum settles over Braddon.

Next stop: BlackFire
By 5pm, the Pyramid Challenge brings the first big commotion, followed by the Curve Wall Challenge at 6pm, and the Hitching Wall Challenge at 7pm. Between each, the Young Guns and Top Dawgs take turns showing off, from fearless up-and-comers to seasoned pros sending it higher every round. Make a night of it. Refuel with wood-fired eats at BlackFire. The whole street turns into an open-air arena where every jump gets a louder reaction than the last.

Saturday: Keg Jumps, Higher Stakes and late night buzz
Day two brings even bigger energy and louder crowds. From 4pm, Open Riding sets the pace again before the Hips Don’t Lie Challenge at 5pm. When 6pm hits, things get rowdy with the Keg Jump Challenge, presented by BentSpoke. Then at 7pm, it’s the main event: the Big Quarter Challenge, where riders go all out to close the weekend in style. Stick around after. Braddon’s bars and restaurants are just getting started. Head to Volstead Repeal if you’re chasing that late-night buzz.
