Clubb Chess Exhibition and Event

Event

Such and Such presents Clubb Chess, a three day interactive exhibition celebrating contemporary artists and designers through the lens of a centuries old board game, encompassing the Festival theme of Dissent.

This exhibition brings together multiple industries across Canberra including architecture, furniture design, art, music and hospitality showcasing Canberra as a city of design and an international cultural hub.

Inside the exhibition curated by Grace Blake, 10 of Canberra's best artists and designers are challenging perspectives, ideologies and history through form. People are encouraged to book a session and immerse themselves into an alternate world. Diversity, culture, excellence and the creative minds of Canberra will all be revealed, piece by piece. Book for one session or spend the day to experience the exhibition in its entirety.

Outdoor in the plaza, people are welcome to enjoy the soothing sounds of Canberra musicians and DJs brought together by Sonic Business. Food and drinks are not forgotten about by Capital Brewing, Spirits Platform, Vino Friendo, Tukka by the Bush, and Such and Such. If you want to take home a trophy, there will be 25 limited edition Clubb Chess cups designed and made by Canberra ceramic icon Chris Harford.
