Echoes of Humanity

Event

Music from Ibero-America.

Enjoy a beautiful afternoon of Latin American music, brought to life through guitar, voice, and bandoneón.

Echoes of Humanity brings together the rich musical traditions of Peru, Colombia, Argentina, and Spain in a program full of warmth, elegance, and energy. From the timeless romance of El día que me quieras to the charm of Fina Estampa and the distinctive rhythms of tango and bambuco, this concert features music that is both familiar and deeply expressive.

You'll also hear works by renowned composers such as Astor Piazzolla and Heitor Villa-Lobos, blending classical tradition with the spirit of Latin America.

Performed by an outstanding ensemble—Rodolfo Caivano (bandoneón), a leading figure in Australia's tango scene; Eduardo Ruiz (guitar), an award-winning classical guitarist from Peru; and Paola Monroy (voice), an internationally experienced soprano—this concert offers an intimate and engaging live experience.

At its heart, Echoes of Humanity is about connection. In a time when life can feel busy and disconnected, this is a chance to slow down, share an experience, and be moved by music that speaks directly to the soul.

Whether you're discovering this repertoire for the first time or returning to music you love, Echoes of Humanity promises a memorable and uplifting afternoon out.
