Presented in partnership with A Gender Agenda to mark Intersex Awareness Day, Girl For A Day (Un jour fille) is a powerful historical drama based on the true story of Anne Grandjean, an intersex person navigating identity, love and self-determination in 18th-century France. While rooted in history, the film speaks directly to contemporary conversations about bodily autonomy, belonging and the right to define one's own identity, offering a moving and thought-provoking exploration of resilience in the face of social and institutional pressures.
