Canberra's beloved Haig Park Village Markets is turning five, and everyone is invited to join the celebrations at Haig Park in Braddon.

To mark this special milestone, visitors can enjoy some free birthday cake, meet some amazing reptiles from Canberra Snake Rescue, and experience a jam-packed lineup of live performances throughout the day.

From its humble beginnings at the start of the pandemic, Haig Park Village Markets has grown into one of Canberra's favourite Sunday destinations offering a vibrant showcase of local produce, handmade goods, food, live music and unique activities for the community.

Accessibility
  • Caters for people who use a wheelchair.
  • Caters for people with high support needs who travel with a support person.
  • Caters for people with allergies and intolerances.
  • Caters for people with sufficient mobility to climb a few steps but who would benefit from fixtures to aid balance. (This includes people using walking frames and mobility aids)
  • Caters for people who are deaf or have hearing loss.
  • Caters for people who are blind or have vision loss.
  • Welcomes and assists people who have challenges with learning, communication, understanding and behaviour. (includes people with autism, intellectual disability, Down syndrome, acquired brain injury (ABI), dyslexia and dementia)
