Screening at Palace Electric Cinema in Canberra, the Irish Film Festival 2026 brings you star-studded, award-winning features, shorts and documentaries showcasing the richness and diversity of contemporary Ireland, its culture, language, music and history.

Enjoy Q&As with filmmakers and stars that take you behind the scenes, plus the famous opening night party and State Premiere of 'Chasing Millions', hosted by the Irish Embassy.

The Festival is proud to present its biggest film selection in 12 years, including many in Irish. With a focus on the Irish/Australian connection, it includes laugh-out-loud comedies, family drama, historical reckonings and folk horror. It's great craic - don't miss out!
