Miles Brown

Event

This event is presented by the Wonderful World Festival.

Eerie to hear and magical to watch, the theremin is the world's oldest electronic instrument.

Miles Brown could recreate the touch-free horror soundtracks from the yesteryears, but this time he's conducting a theramin party. Watch the wonder of him breaking down the Garema Stage with an act of wizardry.

This internationally acclaimed theremin artist and composer has performed everywhere from Play School to Spicks and Specks to the Sydney Opera House. His captivating show weaves the strange science and unusual history of the theremin with Brown's intriguing and hilarious personal story of learning to master this fiendishly difficult instrument, all interspersed with his beautiful and unearthly electronic music.

This show is the free party. If you'd like to delve into the artistry and the wonders of the theremin, get tickets to one of his intimate shows at Smiths.

Explore waves of electro-magnetism and musical mysteries.
