Celebrate 30 years of Baz Luhrmann's iconic Romeo + Juliet with a special anniversary event at the NFSA. Before the screening, audiences can step into the world of Verona Beach with a costume party inspired by the film's distinctive style and soundtrack, featuring a live DJ and Shakespearean performers bringing scenes from the story to life in the NFSA's heritage courtyard. The evening culminates in a rare 35mm screening from the NFSA collection, showcasing the film's bold visual energy, unforgettable performances and generation-defining soundtrack on the big screen.
