The 1996 Edition (Vol 1) | Life Drawing at PJs

Event

The Tipsy Sketching Club presents the 1996 Edition, a themed life drawing experience that blends creativity, nostalgia and social connection in a relaxed pub setting.

Hosted in one of Canberra's favourite city venues, this special edition invites participants to step back into 1996, with models, music and styling inspired by the fashion and cultural energy of the era. Celebrating a year that is now thirty years on, the session offers a playful twist on traditional life drawing while remaining welcoming and accessible.

The experience runs for approximately two hours and includes a range of timed poses, from short warm ups to longer studies, with regular breaks to enjoy food, drinks and conversation. The atmosphere is friendly and low pressure, encouraging participants to relax, experiment and enjoy the process.

All skill levels are welcome, from first time drawers to experienced artists. Drawing materials can be supplied, or participants may bring their own preferred tools and mediums.
