The Long Lost Wonders

Event

This event is presented by the Wonderful World Festival.

The festival's house band will play long lost bangers and one hit wonders inspired by the likes of Elvis Presley and Louis Armstrong.

Canberra's very own Mikelangelo, a national treasure and the Canberra Artist of 2025, will front this band of dads and national guests every day at the festival. Sometimes they'll rove City Walk, sometimes they'll rock Glebe Park, and they'll always play wondrous hits such as 'Walking on Sunshine' and, of course, 'What a Wonderful World'.

Originally Mikelangelo and the Long Lost Friends, the rockers are based in Braidwood, nestled by the wild and winding Shoalhaven river and under the benevolent shadow of Mount Gillamatong.

Featuring Jake Annetts on bass, Steve Maher on keyboard and guitar, Bruce Rose on guitar, Ben Willson on drums and Michael Simic on vocals and guitar.
