The Re-mains and The King Hits

Event

With a history a quarter of a century long, the Re-mains are a natural extension of what Bob Dylan kicked-off at the Newport folk Festival in '65. They deliver with the deft toughness and fire that could only be forged on the Australian pub-rock circuit. With no gimmicks, The Re-mains speak directly of Australia via Country Rock 'n' Roll.

Featuring the songs of enigmatic front-man Mick Daley and the steel and electric guitar power of Leigh Ivin, appearing as a duo for this show, they will highlight some newer material and shine a light on what has made The Re-mains endure. They've played every corner of Australia over and over, along with Europe and North America – 1200 gigs and counting. Their recordings have earned critical acclaim in mainstream and independent press declaring them the "best country-rock act in Australia".

Supporting them is the ACT's King Rooster himself, Adam Bell, upstairs art connoisseur and psych-rock aficionado with his King Hits. Gretsch wielding and wailing is afoot.
