Glebe Park comes alive as the heart of Wonderful World, Canberra's City Centre-wide festival for all generations, celebrating creativity, discovery, community, and the vibrant spirit of the city.
For six days, the Glebe Park Stage will transform with ever-changing music, cabaret, comedy and live performances that will make you laugh, cheer, and return again and again to see what's next. It's the place to gather, explore, and be part of the program as it unfolds across the festival week.
At the centre of this lively space are the Wonder Balloons, a large-scale public art installation that fills Glebe Park with colour, imagination, and the creativity of Canberra's children. Featuring mosaic-style designs that incorporate artwork by local school students, created in response to the question "what is wonderful in your world?" These enormous, floating sculptures form a magical canopy overhead, inviting visitors to sit, eat, drink, and explore.
With an eclectic, multi-generational program, Glebe Park is a destination to explore, marvel at, and revisit throughout the festival.
Each of the six days explores a different program!
Glebe Park is your gateway to a week of wonder.
