Bee-come a bee with Polyglot Theatre

Event

Buzz, hum, waggle, play, and explore — everyone can bee-come a bee!

Step into 'Bees' by Polyglot Theatre, a world-renowned theatre company celebrated for creating exceptional performances for children and families. 'Bees' is a participatory show that welcomes children into a world of wonder and imagination.

Begin by transforming into a bee with paper and tape, ready to join the hive. As three human-sized bees traverse City Walk, children join in, together building a buzzing community of curiosity and collaboration.

Inspired by the mysterious life and work of bees, this re-imagining of City Walk involves the slow uncovering of an intricate unseen world. Children are immersed in the sounds, shapes and scents of the bee world, from their familiar buzz to honeycomb houses. 'Bees' uses ritual, non-verbal communication and the secret world of bee movement to provide a range of access points for children to participate.
