Big Bubble Blowout | Wonderful World Festival

Event

Canberra's about to pop! Immerse in more bubble machines than you can shake a wand at. Come to transform Garema Place and City Walk into a fantastical world of bubbles. Make, chase, pop, mix, and revel in gazillions of floating balls, each one a perfect globe of water, light, and magic, just like our delicate world.

The blowout will begin with a big bubble show on the Garema Stage and lots of making stations, followed by an hour-long bouncing dance party where bubbles big and small are the focus. Quieter areas in City Walk and Petrie Plaza will also be filled with roving performers and bubble-making installations for all ages and abilities. Prizes will be awarded for the most creative wands, biggest bubbles and most bubbles made at one time!

Bring your friends, your bubble wand (or make one there), and your curiosity, and step into a shimmering world bursting with fun. Together, make Garema Place sparkle like never before — a momentary experience to make and enjoy, like life itself.

As well as the fantastic bubble hour of power, each day the festival will have bubble wand and liquid making activities for all the budding bubble scientists to experiment and play.
