Join the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia and Canberra Writers Festival for a year-long series of screenings and discussions, exploring how culturally significant books have been adapted and reimagined as films.

Perfect for bookworms and film buffs alike, this year's Book Club series spans a wide range of genres and styles, from gripping adaptations to visionary cinematic reimaginings.

Upcoming screenings and conversations include:

Jurassic Park (1993) plus discussion with Chris Flynn, author and critic.

Rabbit-Proof Fence (2002) in 4K Restoration.

Picnic at Hanging Rock 1975) - Director's Cut (50th anniversary).

The Joy Luck Club (1993) plus discussion with Alice Pung OAM, bestselling author and lawyer.
