POP Canberra Multicultural Festival Street Celebrations

Event

Enjoy a Multicultural weekend at POP Canberra, which celebrates joyful crossroads of culture, flavour, and community.

On Friday evening, the weekend kicks off with a relaxed cocktail evening in store, hosted by local maker Poncho Fox. Pat will be behind the bar sharing bold, beautifully balanced sojus. Bringing good conversation with great cocktails, all locally made with ingredients handpicked from Pat's gin herb garden.

On Saturday, visitors can experience fresh, hot dumplings from Dumplinins. Intricately handmade locally and paired with Lin Lin's signature artisanal sauces to create a rich, layered depth of flavours.

Sunday fun spills out onto the street with a classic sausage sizzle, elevated POP style, with an international twist. Snags are served with deliciously bold and robust sauces from Kielty's Irish Sauces. Heritage recipes are reimagined to create flavours that feel both nostalgic and delightfully eclectic.

Throughout the weekend, Allara Creative will showcase a bespoke artwork for sale. Every dollar raised from the sale of this unique artwork and all Allara Creative products at POP will go directly to refugee initiatives run by Allara Creative's not-for-profit. Supporting people building new lives and nurturing Canberra's multicultural community.

It's a weekend about connection, sharing food, stories, creativity, and generosity. Come for one thing, stay for all of it.
