Silver Spinning

Event

Silver Spinning is a song-cycle slash fertility ritual slash live art experience.

Combining music, visual and performance art, the show explores the journey into queer parenthood. Expect hymnal art pop, visual dreamscapes, homemade rituals and a warm cosy time.

Initially developed through the Canberra Theatre Centre New Works program last year, this is the first public performance of Silver Spinning as a multidisciplinary work. This version of the show includes music and performance by Luciana Harrison, shadow puppetry and live art by Tara Bromham and sound design and performance by Sia Ahmad. Including a participatory ritual and improvised music sections, each performance of this show is unique.
